Boo in the Bay

Something strange is happening in Williams Bay this fall!

Boo in the Bay is a fall celebration with events spanning from October 5th to October 30th. There is a little something for everyone of all ages to celebrate autumn!

October 5th – 31st: Scarecrow Walk!

• Walk along the Williams Bay Lakefront Path and see the innovative scarecrow designs from local businesses, organizations, and community members. Enjoy the fall weather, have a nice lakefront walk, and see all the creative, spooky scarecrows!
• This event begins October 5th through October 31st for the enjoyment of everyone in the community.

October 17th: Trunk or Treat Fall Festival!

• The Trunk or Treat Fall Festival will be located at the Williams Bay High School parking lot.
• From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, dress up in your favorite costume and bring a bag for goodies, as kids can trick or treat and check out the decorated vehicles!
• Pumpkin carving and decorating will also be a fun activity for the whole family!

October 21st: Murder at the Monster Mash – A Murder Mystery

• The Murder Mystery will be located at Lion’s Field House at 6:00 PM.
• This event is a designed for adults 21+.
• This interactive murder mystery will have participants working together to find clues, solve the case, and have a lot of laughs along the way.
• Participants must RSVP by October 13th as space is limited. Book your spot soon!

October 24th: Monster Walk at the KNC

• Join the community at Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy for a scary good time! Dress up as your favorite monster for a ghoulish walk through the conservancy, looking for other ghouls and monsters along the way!
• This event is geared towards younger children, with plenty of Halloween fun, decorations, and sweet treats for all.
• Take your monster tally to Monster Headquarters and see if you are the best monster detective!

October 24th: Pumpkin Races on Elm Street

• This event is will be located at Elm Street Hill.
• Get ready to roll some pumpkins! Choose your division: Fun Run Division, Bracket Division, or Cheaters Division!
• Fun Run is exactly as it sounds – roll your pumpkin and see how far it can go! Bracket division features head-to-head races, with the fastest pumpkin in each bracket competing in a final round for the crown. Cheaters division is anything-goes! Get creative with your pumpkins design. Join us for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition.

October 30th: Halloween Movie

• Join the community for a screening of Hotel Transylvania at the Williams Bay High School!
• The event begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM, so bring your favorite snacks, blankets, and pajamas, and join Dracula, Mavis, and others in the monster squad.
